SwapTit.Plg - Swap titles A plug-in for Mark Esposito's Notepad (5.41) developed by Michael Baas (CIS: 101523,1757) Installation ------------ Copy SwapTit.plg into the directory app\npad\plug. In Notepad, press Psion-W to get the plug-in menu and select SwapTit. What does it do? ---------------- This small add-on moves a note's title into the text, if no text is defined. I found that to be useful, because the '...' after the title is irritating, when there is no further text. The program also works in the other direction, so it moves a note's text into the title (as long as the text is not longer than 70 characters). So it's easy to add text later on. Disclaimer ---------- I hope you find this program useful and appreciate any comments and suggestions. However you should note that I can not take any responsibility for damage or loss of data caused by this program. Thanks ------ Thanks very much to Mark Esposito for writing Notepad in the first place. This program would not have been possible without notepad ;-) Also, even more thanks to my wife Simone for her patience and understanding. History ------- April 18, 1996: First release May 11, 1996: Minor change: As notepad only allows titles to have 41 chars, SWAPTIT now uses the same limit (previously 70 chars) in order to avoid any potential problems in notepad's organisation. (No one has reported any problems, I'm just cautious)
